neo 4 chip and ar2 cartridge

some info please i have ps2 3003 v4 board with neo4 fitted if i buy an ar2 cheat cart. will i be able to use it as such. (my mate has neo2 fitted and can only use ar2 with boot without codes selected ) 2. iam told the new ar2 v2 cheat cart is only for ps2 v5 boards please advise me someone before i waste money regards :confused: :confused:

the ar2 works with any chip, even the neo 2 correctly. he can choose any codes he wants, the "without codes" method is just for quicker booting of backups.

the newer AR2 version works with all boards, while older versions didn't work with V5s.. not the other way round.
