im having trouble with a backup copy of dino crisis. i burned it using clone cd and a tdk cdr. i know it works cuz it boots up fine, and it goes to the sreen that says "this game contains scenes of violence and gore" but right after that it goes to this other screen that has a big red X and some japanese writing. i know that this is a mod chip protection cuz i heard about that red X thing before. I just need to know how to patch it so it works fine and gets thru the X part. that thing scared the shit out of me at first! i did d/l a patch but i dont know how to apply it and if it would solve the problem. i d/loaded cdrwin since i heard u need that to apply the patch. if anyone can help me thanks. oh yeah, im not using a chip im using the PS-Xchange 2 bootdisk if that has anything to do with it.

go here to get the patch mega games (http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_patches.shtml) and go here psx copy world (http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk) to get ppf-o-matic to apply the patches and look in the tutorial to find out how to use it.
