My quote?

Buzzard
30-04-2002, 01:45
No, not your quote, your assumption to one of my answers that i was advocating stealing software i/e Clone CD, If no one bought Clone CD then We would surely lose one of the most useful backup programms around, I know that it must be tempting to use one of the numerous password generators around but like i said that will eventuly lead to every one losing out in the end, that is why it is important to ensure that forums like this are not allowed to become one large knowledge base for the illegal copying of copy righted materials,

P.S i understand the nick name now (The Judge) Perhaps you should be known as The Judge and jury From now on.

so what do you think of the new Clony2006 english?

Buzzard
05-05-2002, 10:32
Don't know i've not tried it yet i,m trying the old version at the moment,i recently looked at a version that had been translated from german but it was a bit buggy so i binned it, to be honest i dont usualy use anything to find out what protection is on a disk i just tell Clone CD whether it is a data disk, game or music disk it's all down to Clone CD then , I also limit the write speed to very slow, never more than x4. Normally if the write fails it is usualy down to bad media

Read DVD player
Write hp cd-writer

no probs:)

With the hp i think that is the problem if you make caosters, because it isn;t very compatible with the latest protections and you also have to tell what settings cloncd must use in the game cd option, just right click on the game cd icon and then select edit!

The 2006 is officially translated by the real author. You can get it here (http://clony.insomnia-online.net/)

My hp is the 9150i made in malaya, which has a hp body but a sony innards, (apparently) no burn proofing i think that is why i like Clone CD it set's a high buffer zone, well i'm happy, i think i've made one coaster since xmas, apparently if you hang them in your car from the rear view mirror they deflect radar from speed cameras which we have an abundance of in england :)
