Playing Oni on a phantom drive

I've imaged Oni to my HDD as with all my games, but it refuses to detect that the CD is mounted, it only detect if I have it in a physical drive. Every other game I have is ok with playing from an mounted image, can someone please help me.

Use CloneCD and ClonyXXL to read image to HD and then mount with Daemon Tools with all copy protection fixes unchecked. That should work.

no go, used CloneCD to make the image, if I burn it to a CDR it will run happily, but just wont work as an image. I'm using CloneCD 3.02 to mount it.

Has anyone ever had any luck running this game from phantom drive

How can you use CloneCD 3.02 to mount it??? I think you mean Daemon 3.02. Daemon may be blacklisted. You have to change some registry setting but i cant remember what it was. Search this forum or a Daemon forum.
