which game to boot dvd r

what game should i use to boot dvdr. will any dvd game work?

Any original dvd game will work as long as the original has a larger TOC than the backup game. Most use DMC or the DMC demo disc.

im using the rmod, or as some people say not really a mod, and a burned dvdr. when the tray comes out after putting the original DMC disc in its still spinning. normal or not?
also im trying to play my backed up game state of emergency. which was burned 1x on panasonic ldf311
using recordnow 4.0
what happens is when i put backup game in it just stays at the GS2 screen swap disc now. any help would be appreciated

This is the only working method i know of that will boot dvd-r with a no-solder mod and a GS2v2.0 or higher.



Insert GS2, allow it to completely load.
Swap GS2 with original dvd game,wait 30 sec.
Then select gameshark codes and select ANY game and turn on or off any code.
Press start, select with codes and press x.
A black screen will appear saying updating codes please wait. Immediately press and hold eject until tray opens, swap dvd original with dvd-r backup, tray will close and backup will load

thanks for the tip but still no go. it sounds like it starts spinning but nothing. i used memorex brand dvdr, maybe thats why

hey, just found my problem. i didnt have any aspi32 drivers installed, so i guess the game wasnt getting ripped properly. thanks for your help NS.
