I just wanted to say thank you for helping me with the Messiah installation, i found in Israel very good installer,he took the PS2 in the morning and finish the job after 2-3 hours, every thing is working good.
If any one from israel wants the installer details, just Email me,find my Email in my profile.
There is one pronlem About the DVD movies, the PS2 reads all the DVD with Pach disk and a code(just pressing XXXX),but just in PAL movies the picture is good,in other zone the picture is not so good, the color is changing, and i have kind of lines on the screen.
Do you know the resone for this or you have any solution how to solve it ?
Second,I wanted to buy cable for the PS2 with S-VIDEO connector instead of the RCA connector ,do you think the picture will be better if i will replace the cable ?

Thank You

the color problem is simply that your tv can not display NTSC. if your tv has a rgb scart connector, get a RGB cable, that will fix it and give you the best quality possible too.

My Tv is multi system,i think it's O.k, But if i am not right, all i need is Multi system tv or RGB cabel connected to the scart connector ?
What the deferent between the orginal cable we get with the PS2 - RCA connector connected to the scart plug ?
Does the S-video cable want be better then the rgb Plug?

the scart connector carries av (rca), s-video and rgb.
AV is the worst signal (the cable that comes with the PS2)
s-video is better, but not the best
RGB is the best quality possible.

I rarely disagree with Arakon (and not seriously on this occasion either) - but ...

The cable that comes with the PS2 is absolutely fine for NTSC if THAT AV port on your TV supports NTSC with RGB. On some TVs there are three AV ports (like on mine - each supports NTSC). On other TVs only one is NTSC compatible and your instructions will tell you which. If that's the Scart socket then you'll need a fully loaded (RGB compatible) PS2 Scart cable.

I'm speaking technically. technically AV is the worst signal, although RF is even worse (but almost noone uses that anyways).
RGB is alot better than AV, quality-wise.

My PS2 is PAL with messiah install inside, every thing is working perfect but just in non PAL DVD movie the picture is not good, some of it in color and some of it is kind of negetive color.
I dont think that the problem is the tv becuase the tv is Multi System, more then that,i have DVD player at home and the color of the same movie on the same TV is good.
Please tell me if it can be the messiah installation problem.

Thank's
