MOHAA Instalation problem

Hello,
I am new here and I am not certain whether this question has been addressed (I searched through about ten pages, with no luck) but I am having a problem installing MOHAA Disc 2. Disc 1 installs fine but at about 87% of disc 2 I get a message saying theres been a Catastrophic error. I have tried installing several times, to no avail. I am running windows XP pro. Any suggestions or solutions would be much appreciated. I have d/l the game a couple times.

Sounds like a bad copying attempt. But nothing to do with the copy protection

What kinda cd-r did u install it from?I had this problem with an ACER cd-rom which was brand new,and i was usin the original cd....
