does anyone know how to rip music files off a playstation 1 disc and play it on my computer? i have this game (romance of the three kingdoms 6), and i wanna rip the music tracks off it, and turn them into mp3's so i can listen to them on my computer. anyone have any ideas on how to do this?? please??

not easy since almost every game uses one track with data and audio in it, and to top things off the tracks wont be in stereo format.

it is possible though if you use psxmplayer
u have to then scan the cd or image for str or xa tracks(XA for music)
then convert and save it in WAV format
and i guess u can take it from there.

note: there are some .str files (normally movie files) that contain audio only. like on DDR 5th mix, all of the previews for the songs and a few other menu songs are all in one .str file on the cd.

ah cool...thanks. does anyone know what .SEQ files are? i have a bunch of them on the cd, and psmplay wont open them. are they anything of importance?
