Is there some sort of copy protection on civ III? Tried burning a copy with Nero 5, but I get a write error.

I found the link to the Daemon tools. However, I'm not sure which program will let me determine which version of safedisc it is... or will it work with 2.xx.xx?

I'm having the same problem with Monkey 4. I can copy the 1st disc no problem, but I'm getting a burn error with the second one. Very annoying.

Get Clone CD (http://www.elby.org) then get Clony XXL (http://insomnia.covers.de/). Then check the Clone CD page again to see if your burner can clone SD2 (you're looking for a dot, preferably two beside"Correct EFM coding")

If it has a dot, then use the settings Clony gives you - don't tick AWS during writing. And also, read from your burner.
If it hasn't got the dot, then enable AWS (this doesn't help all drives).

Enable Hide CD-R Media in the Clone CD Tray when you play the game from the burner in case the game has an ATIP check.

To determine what version of SD is being used, download Safedisk Analyser (http://www.cdmediaworld.com/).

If AWS doesn't help then download a crack from GCW (http://www.gamecopyworld.com). Note, the ATIP check will usually be removed with this as well.
