I have this problem too. I have not only reinstalled the game, but also Windows XP and replaced my Geforce2 with a Geforce4. The problem remains though.
I saw Lucas Arts has released a 1.01 patch, but I can't find a nocd-fix for this yet. Anyone know where to download it?

 I have this problem too. I'm not sure, but i think it's VIA chipset problem. I'm try game on two PC with AMD 1500+ procesors, SB live! sound cards, Geforce2MX and Voodoo3 video cards. Windows 98/ME/XP - same shit. :(

I also have an AMD-processor, and two friends I know have the same problem too. Maybe it has something to do with the processor then...

Single play mode not working, but multi play starting fine. Very strange... ;) Maybe problem in SB Live! audio card?

I've tried to burn it with clone cd (my CDRW is a Nec 7900 A) but all I'm achieving is a nice set of drinks mats. What are the clone cd settings I need ?

I know you guys get tired of helping newbies, but once more wont hurt will it ??

Use Clony XXL (http://insomnia.covers.de/).
And use the Search button.
And read the rules.
And were not tired of helping newbies, were tired of people posting bullshit etc. See http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?s=&goto=lastpost&threadid=30139.
Nobody will chop your head of for asking newbie questions, just the Search Button makes most of them obsolete.

I don't have many posts because I make the most of "search" and read posts on the game that's causing me problems.

On this occassion, the best I've found is simply to make a 1:1 copy, which I've tried unsuccessfully.

Also tried Clony XXl but it gave me a German error message that I couldn't translate.

Oh well, back to producing coastersI guess.

Jsfurball, dude, how can u be having problems copying a game that has no protection at all?? Nothing, Nada, Nowt. I managed to burn it using a piss poor burner with Nero. Straight copy, no cracks or fixes.

If I knew that I'd have more blank CDs left !

Whatever the problem was, it's now sorted. I have a working back-up.

Cheers DUDE

Hey Raggmunk, when did LucasArts release that patch?? More so why would they release 1.01. Isnt everyones copy (The retail version) 1.02a or something?? Im running this game on a AMD proccessor, SB Live Card and a Geforce 3 (and until recently a TNT2pro) Had no problems at all.
