Use the second one. The first one obviously does not work so get the original and copy it using the FIXED patch only.

The patch will never mess the game up. the only thing it can do is not crack the game. it could be choppy because of a number of reasons

The cd burner is crap
The Blank cd is crap
You are burning at a high speed (or sometimes a very low speed)
your copying the game "on the fly"
You are using a program which is not fully compatible with your burner

Those are all the reasons i can think of from the top of my head

Good luck

Everything is ok apart from the 1X burn speed. i have an old and new burner and the old one would always burn games crap at 1x speed. no matter how good i done everything else it still skipped its way through fmvs. then i burned at 4x speed and i have never had a problem since. so try higher speeds like 2x or 4x speed.

i also noticed a big difference in the colour of the burnt cd when i did it at 4x speed. so just try it and see what happens.

Good luck
