Made a copy but game doesn't load after seleting game type!?

I was going to try the EA Patcher but I don't think it will work.
No errors on the origional. Using USB Mod.

Where's the best site for NTSC game patches, or at least a
list of what games need patches!!

I know you might think I'm being sarcastic or something, but really, with all seriousness, my advice is simply that you should sell your USB mod, buy a messiah chip, then use CloneCD to make a perfect 1:1 copy of Star Wars Racer Revenge...

your PS2 will thankyou for it!

no patching, no swapping, game will run beautifully, first time, everytime... the chip speaks for itself.

Hope I've been of some help to you.

Cheers.

How many wires do those have, over 30 something!?

I just about ruined my PS2 trying to get a 9 wire NEO 2,2 to work!!

NO THANK YOU!!! NO PS2 suicide for me, thanks!

If it loaded and you made it to the select game screen then it doesn't need a usb mod patch. You have a bad backup. If it needed the patch it would never have made it past the black screen.

Well I tried to burn it again and I extracted and patched the .img
file with EA Patcher, burned it and this time it works!

I donno if it really needed the patch or the first copy was just
bad for some reason! Weird! Only other game I patched with EA
patcher was Crazy Taxi, that wouldn't load at all without a patch.

Again, it would be REALLY nice to have a list of what NTSC games
need a patch!!!
