PS2 dvd-r booting

Hello I have a 30003r V5 with rmod and AR2 version 2.1 and I am having problems booting GTA3 Dvd-r using GTA3 original as TOC disc. please help.

Where does your boot take you to?

Is any part of the game loaded or do you just get a blank screen after booting?

Thanks SimonBradley but I have now found a boot method which will allow me to Start and Play GTA3 using GTA3 original or DOA2 original.
