I just got a used PS2 and about 7 games, but some of them are in rough shape, scrached, scufed ect. They still work, but I would like to make copys in case they quit working.
Could someone please link me to how it has to be done.
I burns two in my CD-RW and they will play on my computer PS2 Emulator, but not in my PS2, it just tells me to install disk, when it's already in.
I'm new to this and this site so please excuse me if this is covered here at the site someware. Thanks.

I can assume you bought your PS2 second hand by the condition of the games you got with it.

Has the PS2 got a mod chip fitted, you need one to play backups.

it depands on the sort of modchip. some require patches for games and some not. Which ps2 emulater are you using. I thought that there were no good ps2 emulaters out now

schumy2001,
I don't remember the name of the emulator I got, but I got it from KaZaA. I just put in PS2 Emulator and got back quite a few hits.
I think it was from ,Lynx Productions, file name:EKAf.exe
Sorry I don't know if it is the right name, I dumped it soon after when the burnt copy(backup) would not run on the PS2 and I gave up , hoping to find how to do it right from this Forum.
Hope this helps.
