View Full Version : Winace and Winrar will not open MOHAA NO CD Archive file

That's right guys I've tried both. Winrar says that there is an unknown method in MOHAA.exe.

Would someone send me the file on ICQ or point me to where I can download a zipped version?

did you make sure the entire file got downloaded? maybe re-downloading the archive?

Man, I have tried everything. I built this computer and several others and have reformatted and all that dozens of times but never ran into such crap as this.

Oh yeah, my ICQ is 20562013 and I am MACDIVER on Messenger too.

Please, someone send the file this way. I have Road Runner cable :D

you should have the latest winace, that is probably your problem, i had that a few weeks ago.

Yep, the answer was to get the latest WinRAR edition.

The download from Winace still is giving me an illigal operation.

I also installed the no intro patch and it works well too. It goes directly to the game main menu. Kewl!!!

Now I'm gonna get the extra blood patch and go a fraggin.

a little off topic, but adding "set cl_playintro 0" intro to your mohaa shortcut will do the same thing as adding the no intro mod, and you won't have to mess with the mods... your short-cut should look like this:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\MOHAA.exe" +set cl_playintro 0

@bedford, does that stop the intro from starting and thus goes straight to the ingame menu?

yes it does. funny how so many people made mods to the game to correct the intro problem when such a simple fix is available. Adding that to the shortcut will skip all images and intro and get right to the ingame menu. I know quite a bit about MOH:AA so if anyone has any questions just e-mail me and I will help you find what you want to know. I would definitely go to alliedassualt.com first and read some posts if the question is really easy.

haha just be sure to include +set thereisnomonkey 1 with the +set cheats 1 so that you can use all teh cheat codes. Go to http://www.planetmedalofhonor.com/mohaa/sp/cheats.shtml for more info on being a cheater :)

so they must run on, the reason i have it on is that when i am now going to start the game from the beginning again since i beat it with NO CHEATS....i just want the shotgun earlier on!
