PeteyPete,

I am in the north Jersey area near NYC. I think that I am gonna take the plunge and ATTEMPT to perform the mod myself. I just got back from Radio and purchased the following items:

1) 15 watt soldering iron Cat # 64-2051
2) 30 awg Kynar wire Cat # 278-503 (Boy is it thin!!)
3) Digital multimeter Cat # 22-810 (if I only knew how to use it)
4) Solder Weld Cat # 64-029
5) Rosin Soldering Flux Cat # 64-021 (do I need this?)
6) Wire stripper/Cutter Cat # 64-2129A
The rest:
7) Pioneer A03 ordered online
8) I want to order the Messiah from Dust/Charlie but
I am concerned about Customs
9) Sh*% load of reading!!

Glock, I'm sure you'll be alright w/ customs, i've had much more dubious packages sent through customs (and from countries much more suspect than the UK). Hey, you have to let me know how you make out on your install, and while you have some time, I'd practice soldering (lord knows, i'm going to need it).

btw, how much did your pioneer ao3 cost ya????

and Good luck!!!!

I paid $409.00 and I'll send u the link if you want, although I have since seen it offered as low as 375.00. I am def. taking a riskdoing the install myself but my friend is a manager at EB so.... I'll let you know how I make out.
