Not too sure under which forum to put this but hopefully someone might be able to help.
I have recently been having problems with writing CDs as I'm getting a crackle on some, but not all, like the old vinyl LP crackle. The originals are all perfect.
Initially I thought it might be my writer but today I got the same problem from an image file using my old writer and different software. This has got me to wonder if it might either be the CDs I'm using or even my PC.
I usually use the same supplier and the problem only seems to have come to light since I got my last batch of CDs which are branded Spring. I've not had problems with other CDs supplied by them ( this is the first time they have supplied Spring).
Can anyone offer any help as to whether they think the problem is more likely to be the CDs (anyone used Spring) rather than a PC issue. If it could be the PC any suggestions as to why?
All help much appreciated.
