how do i know wot chip i have

how do i find out wot chip i have, as i brought my ps2 ready done, i have to use a dvd region x bootup disc, it plays my old psx games from normal bootup without the region x disc,

On the fairly scant information you've provided it seems to be a Neo2.0 or Neo2.2

thanx for that, is there a chip that allows you to just stick in the rip and play, without the perlava of using dvd regionx bootup disc and swapping for the rip game, blah blah blah !!!
