can i use a broadband adapter with a normal telephone line, an analog line, i am from uk so i use a standard bt telephone wall socket

Not unless you have a modem in your computer and you network your DC to your computer. Even then I don't know exactly how you could do it.

Bottom line is, the BBA will **ONLY** attach to other network adapters (Ethernet), never telephone services.
