is it possible to get some boot-disk or something like that?
a guy I know tried something from the net and got a virus which formated his HD!

there is no such thing as a boot-disc and it will never come. Because the prtections on ps2 games are hidden in the hardware and not in the software so to get rid of the protection you have to modify your hardware for example a messiah chip. There are other ways to boot up ps2 backups but you have to be carefull not to harm your ps2 with them. I`ve tried them and my ps2 is now broken. Sony wil send me a new one. In holland we also have a exchange service only it`s free.

if you are talking about playing cd-r and dvd-r backups on a ps2 without a modchip then yes u can play them!

how the fuck are you going to play cdr and dv backups without a moschip! There are ways but then you have to put a knife in your ps2! No joke
