View Full Version : Messiah Chip for V3 PS2

Has anyone managed to successfully chip a PS2 V3 with a Messiah/Clone Chip?

I took a look at it the other day and after seeing how close the points are decided not to bother doing it myself.
If it is possible I will find someone who is shit hot at soldering to do the job for me.

have done neo4 in v3 not too bad
have seen the messiah diag don't look too difficult

My famous "mate round the corner" has done two. The laser's a total bugger though as I've described in a recent post. Whoever chips yours could face the same challenge - hours of re-calibration.

Anyway you know my number if you want to talk about this.

I've done about 10 v3's so far.
it seems to be the one that people have to shop around to find a installer for.

can u boot dvdr on you v3 at moment if yes u got np
if u not sure i can supply your answer for u
i posted 2 dvdr movies to charlie yesterday so if u get his mate fit he can check your laser befor chip fitted
if not for all that dodgey ;) help u tried give me with gt3 rip(old nick zoedee)i sure i can post u dvdr movie to check your laser condition with

my advice would b sell old v3 chip its already got in it
u b surprised few games with it and it pay for nice v5 nice new laser get messiah put in that

Works fine with DVD-R I just can't be bothered anymore doing disc swap. Are there any PS2 V3 Messiah fitters in the North West I live near Manchester.

they chip all ps2 at bowlers (Trafford park) Northern computer markets every saturday 11am-3pm ...they do neo 2.2, neo 4, messiah and origachip.....varios prices..

Bowlers is where I got the PS2 from in the first place.
They don't do the Messiah yet though!

I Went to Bowlers last week and a stall was selling messiah for £65 for chip or £130 for chip and installed (while u wait)....

pre chipped messiah ps2 were £320.00....
