version 5 board modified?

bought a psx2 today 9/3/02 opened it up & noticed pin2 for the neo 2.2 chip is different. it has white writing on it & when tested with a meter noticed continuity from pin2 to connector below it. previously modded four psx2s v5s with no probs, any ideas? do not want to blow it up as the buyer is picking it up soon.

I'm not sure if this will help or not but according to a friend at www.pgimports.com it's better to use the pin 2 location used in a v4 diagram instead of a v5, this may give you a alternate solder point for pin2

i used the origonal solder point & crossed my fingers, worked ok. i will have a look at the other site & compare solder points
