Need help with Guilty Gear X

i'm actually kind of new at backing up PS2 games but i recently burned Guilty Gear X for PS2 and when i try to play, the screen just jumps and jumps and jumps. the game is playing fine, it's just the screen that keeps jumping, only that backed up game is doing it. is there any sort of patch i left out???

i don't know if this matters any, but i use the cog method to play backups.

please help! :(

i also don't know if this would matter but i have one of the first PS2s on the market, could it be old bios or something?
