MOHAA CD PATCH help needed errors errors

I need help, just installed the game from orignal cd's now i like to get the patch going for it i have downloaded the patches extracted it using winace getting errors
than i delete the old exe file and put the new patch in
when using it it comes up
[error starting program] ==c/program flies\ea\mohamohaa.exe file restall the file and start again...
and also windows cannot run this program becuse it is in a invalid format
please help

If you get error when extracting then the download is faulty ... try downloading again.

I assume you are using the correct program to unpack the file ?

WELL it was the old version of winace VERSION 1.2 i was using now ive got 2.11 it unpacks with no errors---
