can't load second disc psx

i'm using a ps-x-change disc to use a back up copy of driver 2.i've finished the first disc and can't load the 2'nd.where am i going wrong,do i need another component?

The problem you have is indeed the x-change disc,

The best mod to have is the good old fasioned internal mod chip, they are very reliable and never give any trouble at all with muti disk games.

You will also find that the plug mod's also give the same problem when trying to load the second disc of almost any multi disk game.
