Hi there....hope someone can help me please.
Am trying to create a backup disk for MOHAA.
Have used CloneCD to create image on HD, as per instructions form this site. Have put the IMAGE file thru Betablocker v1.01 as per instructions, and then burnt onto CD-R . Image created at 1x and burnt onto CD-R at 6x.
I have an ACER 16x10x40.
The game is already installed on the HD from the original disk.
When I try to open up the game from the "burnt" copy I can get as far as a splash screen that gives me the usual options,
"play", "install", "uninstall" etc then I get the "this programme has performed an illegal operation" message.
Any one have some advice please ??
Have I copied from image onto CD-R too fast??
Will the copy not work with the original installation because o fthe way the files have been copied ??
All advice gratefully received
cheers

Try writing at a lower speed, maybe at 4x or less!

BUt use a cdrw disc so that you don;t waste cd by making coasers.

Also did you ticl AWS?

 I downloaded the medal of honor No Cd file from the main site, but I can't get it to work. The file is called flt-moh.ace. I follow the instructions by taking the MOH.exe out of the program files folder and putting the flt-moh.ace in its place. When i open the file, it says that I have to choose a program to run it off of. I have Windows Xp, which MIGHT have something to do with it, but I';m not sure. Also, If I could get instructions on how to burn the MOH Cd, so I can run it off the burnt CD instead of the original, It would be much appreciated. Thanks. Cheers to MOH!

Oh dear oh dear.
See the one of the sticky topics at the top of the forum. "What to do with ace files"?
Obviously not - http://www.winace.com - and unace the file.
