Beep during psone boot - newbie question

I've chipped my psone and during the boot, just after I press the reset button, I hear a small beep. After the games boot correctly. Is it normal or is there something wrong with the chip installation?

Sounds normal to me, all my Sony consols do it, even the older grey units.

mine does not beep it only did wen i first got it put in some time from 97-99 im pretty sure
