View Full Version : this is the last time i post this!!!
can some please give me info on mod chips!! i know you guys know which chips are the best... this is my third post..please let me know...the system is ps2 v.1 thanks s2j
I use PS2 NeoKey USB ModChip
All of the same great features of the internal NEO ModChip, but the ease of single wire installation and USB Plug-N-Play technology.
I ordered a USB Modchip on the 03/02/02 as the fella above says from a company in USA located at http://www.modchipstore.com/ I paid via credit card (which I am keeping a very close eye on the card account) but as yet the only thing I have received is an email confirming my order.
I sent them a separate email on the 07/02/02 concerning my order but received no reply. Modchipstore.com are linked from GameCopyWorld in the PS2 patches pages.
So personally I wouldn't recommend using a company that you really don't know about. Try and find someone who has successfully purchased one.
Hopefully they are just a little slack on replies for orders. If I hear anything I will post it in these pages.
The External Mods are about so it seems. :(

I don't recommend USB mods because they are lame. They won't play DVD-Rs nor import originals (nor will NEO2.x play import originals).
For v1 NTSC I recommend the OrigaChip which plays everything. (www.origachip.com). There is no other chip for the v1 that is of similar functionality.
