Ghost Recon Problem

Can anyone help? Loaded Grecon and put in no cd patch, now get the page fault error when try to play the game. What am i doing wrong...followed the directions for the patch.

Try this to fix your invalid page fault error:

On your system, go to the below link, if you did not install GR here, go to the install folder and follow the rest of the link:

C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\Ghost Recon\Mods\Origmiss\Save\Game

Check to see if you have a file named min.csf_bin

If so, create a new folder and cut and paste it out of the current folder.

Doing this fixed the exact same error on my system and allowed me to play with no problem, although my completed missions were no longer available --haven't figured the solution to that one yet . . .

I don't have that file under the game folder. Is there anything else that could cause the fault.... Suggestions anyone? Please?

Reinstall the game, then get unsafedisc v 2.40 and then make a fixed exe. Use the new one to play the game.

Please give me a quick refresher course on the use of unsafedisk...it has been a while. last use was when c&c2 came out.
