Almost perfect 1:1 copy??

Ok I have made back ups of both MOHAA and Max Payene, using Clone CD, and a Sony CR145E burner, now the copies work great for installing the games, also when I use a cd copy protection detecting tool it reads the cd as having Safe Disk V2 as the copy protectin.
However when I try to play the game with the back up cd it just hangs at the loading screen, checking the cd over and over again, it doesnt give the usual "please insert cd" message, I was wondering if there is anything I could do about this(other than the no cd crack) I heard that safe disk may also check for the prescence of CDR media, not sure if Clone CD hides that in the burning proccess.
Any thoughts or ideas are welcome!!!

nope is just that you cdwr can;t do sd2 properly it will stay at the loading screen forever.....just get a crack and play it that way then.

I have had this problem when copying FIFA 2002 AND MAX PAYNE with clone cd. I have a SONY CRX200E CDRW.

When i copy Max payne the game installs but the cd keeps reading at the start splash screen.

Would this be down to my CDRW??

Is it possible that my CDRW can copy any safedisk protected games??
