anyone get this to work? i can get it to make a copy but it doesnt work when i want to play it.

is there a way to make a actual playable backup?

made a working backup with lite on 24102b set fast error skip and burned it. when i play it it in the lite on i have to cut on hide cdr in clone cd, but it plays fine in a regular cdrom

I just got the latest version of Nero and burned it, didn't need to select or change anything. Works fine :)

what settings did you have checked?

MOHAA is using the new dreaded Safedisk 2.51.21. Burners like my Plextor 24X which could previously make backups of Safedisk 2 have been reported to fail with this new version (at best only worked in the burner). There have been many reports of this. The Lite-On 24X is reported to have worked, it and it's 32X model are the only writers that have been reported to make 1:1 copies with Clone CD.

There has been some success with an edited version of Betablocker ####://www.fettesbruder.gmxhome.de/files/Beta2Sd2_51.zip

Even the AWS in Clone CD has been defeated. I can only hope that someone comes up with a way to make the 1:1 copy with the Plextor again. Maybe Olli will get to the bottom of the new protection and alter Clone CD to suit. He's probably working on it right now - i hope!

i have clone cd 3.2.2.1 and i use a Sony 140e ( 8x 4x 32) and medal of honor copies very easily. Set it on fast error skip copy with the following settings: speed 4x, 3 retrys, and set the last on to none

It will work every time.

Rukazy2. i have teh same drive as you and haven't even been able to do v 2.30 and later with it. What settings did you use? Can't backe up Dune. Are you using any patches or something?

basically i use the sony to copy onto the hdd and then copy onto the blank cd. As stated i use fast error skip. Use clony (its a great little program) it states copy at 4x retry 3 times and use no error corrections. I havent had any problem with any games yet. Sorry i forgot to mention you use a nocd patch to play the game. Which i use anyway even if the game can use the burnt cds. Because its a pain changing discs all the time when playing different games

have you tried to copy it yet. I hope it worked for you, mainly just to shut Ghost up.

That is not what i meant. What i meanis that the sony crx 140e can't make perfect backups. i.e. it needs a patch to run . That's why i asked what you did.
