RTCW-CD runs only unter Win2k, not Win9x

I have a strange copy of RTCW. It seems only to run under Win2k. On my two systems (both Win2k) i can use it without problem. But as soon as i try to use it on a Win9x-system all files are empty and .exe-files are "no win32-app". The problem is not with the Drives, as a friend of mine has the same DVD-drive (Pioneer DVD-a03S) under win9x and it does not work. I also tried to use an iso in daemon-tools emulated drive. no solution.

But when i do a 1:1 copy on a win9x system, the copied cd will work under 2k, but not under 9x. Strange...

Is there some Driver in win2k allowing it to read this cd, which win9x has not ?

Same for me, disk runs fine on xp/2k machines but not on 98 ones....wierd.

Any ideas anyone?
