i use nero and cdrwin (i have cloncd but my writer isnt compatable) and i want to know is it possible to apply a patch before burning an image file????

what game are you trying to back up? most games have specific instructions, and the fact you dont have clonecd burner will mean you probably have to to patch 9/10, patches and instructions are @ gamecopyworld (for pc) just check the links above.
