My Plextor 16/10/40A is slow as hell!

I've been trying to backup a couple of games (Tropico and Black and White) with CloneCD (3.0.8.2) but it takes over 20 min. to do 1%. I've got all the settings according to GameCopy World's Backing up page. I backed up Blade of Darkness no problem at all and it rips mp3's super fast. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

try checking the box "fast error-skip" or similar

try using a bit of patience !!!! up to 4% can take forever but after that its not bad

Thanks, I didn't realise that my problem was a lack of patience. I started the copy and walked away. It worked perfectly.

p.s. does it show that I'm a newbie...
