I've done all you guys said to do but it does'nt work. I've burn it using a Plextor and CloneCd. I've extracted the crack with winace. But when i want to run the game, the screen turn black for 3 seconds and come back to normal. Sometimes, it says "Fatal error : no timers"

me too! im beginning to think theres no way to get a backup for this.

me too! im beginning to think theres no way to get a backup for this.i'm i the only one with a successful crack? the patches work just fine used the right way... open with winace or winrar extract files to temp dir then to madden dir run reg patch first, then the patch then replace exe file.... game runs great for me

Well i made 2 copies. one with clonecd and the 2nd w/ cdrwin. the cdrwin copied but seems to jump and skip at points thru the game. then with the clonecd copy i couldnt get it to work but finally it did. it skips more than the 1st copy. it plays fine.

IT's important to extract files to a temp dir (not on the desktop). Thanks Flyonthewall, now it works !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone been able to get a backup of this without replacing the executables?

New Madden2k2 patch released today. I think u can only get it by pressing the update button. Is GCW going to post it up soon?

I have made a succesful copy of madden that not only loads but plays fine without any extra downloads, I dont know why it worked fine for me and no one else but, it did, and not to jinx myself, But its working great. I used cdclone
