Baldurs Gate II - ToB Crack Help

I downloaded the crack from this site but i dont know how to use it
its a *.crk and i renamed it to a *.txt and it said something about editing the bgmain.exe
how do i do this and what do i do?

Hi , I send the right crack to GCW a while ago .
Its a crack for the Version 2.5.26464 .
It means : Download the Crack , update the game to the v 2.5.26464 (you can get the update for example at Black Isle Studios Homepage) and then use the crack at the BGmain.exe File .
Thats all . The crack runs perfect at the german & the english version of this game :-) .

I think he's talking about what to do with the v2.5.26498 crack. I too myself would like to know.

Yeah thats the one im talking about version 2.5.26498 its giving me the shits because i cant play the game without it
so can someone PLEASE TELL ME HOW THE HELL TO US THAT CRACK OR GIVE ME ON THAT WORKS FOR VERSION 2.5.26498

Just use a hex editor. I did it, and it works fine in single player. Now if only I could get multiplayer working...
