Patch Interstate 76

I purchased a Platinum copy of Interstate 76 yesterday and need a patch for CD2 so I can use it to run the game and protect my original. I cannot find a patch because I do not know the game version. There is nothing anywhere on the cd's, documentation of game itself to tell me. There is a file cal 'product" in the game directory and states:
