Diablo II LOD - CloneCD 3.0.6.1 - Plexwriter12/10/32A

I am having difficulty copying DII LOD with my plexwriter. The finished CD will install LOD ok but when I try to play LOD it asks me for the original CD.

I am using a plexwriter 12/10/32A (revision 1.04), CloneCD 3.0.6.1 on Win2K.

Has anyone made a successful 1:1 copy of LOD using this combo

I am using CloneCD V. 3.0.5.1 and Win 98SE and Plexwriter 12/10/32A V. 1.08
I too had the same problem in copying LOD untill I discovered that for some
reason the Game will not accept information from the Writer when checking the
disk for ID. So when I installed a CD rom drive the disc worked just fine, I
suspect the solftware put in a check for CD Writers.
