I want to make a perfect backup of Diablo II.
(without patching the exe file)

Can it be done?

Play disc is the only one protected out of the 3.

Another ex-poster who's only answer is - CloneCD, without a mention that it doesn't work with all burners.

Not only that, BOT-CK - for what reason should you enable ´fast error skip´!? D2 is SecuROM protected so you MUST NOT (!) have ANY errors!!!
If your writer is CloneCD DAO-PQ or DAO-PW supported use CloneCD with these settings:
Read options: Read subchannel data from data tracks (with a reader supporting the reading of subchannel data - IMPORTANT! Otherwise the option is useless!)
Write options: None!
If CloneCD only supports one of the SAO modi or you´ve to use some other soft (e.g. CDRWin) go get the Daemon from www.daemon-tools.com and play with enabled SecuROM emulation - it should work fine ;)
