Problem with all desperados 1.0e cracks

I have seen many posts about desperados but did not find any solution for my problem. I have a copy of desperados and i already used every cracks i could find but not even one worked when i saved my game. The game doesn´t save and it ask me for the original cd.

Is it a problem with every single crack or is there some kind of solution for this problem?

hi m8 i used the crack ok and it works fine.
i am actually in the middle of the game now all saves 100%
no asking for cd

could you please tell me what crack you use and where did you get it?
