ripping music from game CD's

is there any way to rip the music from games (like quake 3 arena) into wav or mp3 format?is there a program i need, or is it simply impossible to do?

U need a special unpack-utility. Don't know the exact name and process. Search the web 4 quake-sites, i.e. PlanetQuake. I'm sure they have the util's! This is only 4 quake.
Other game = other way 2 rip the music.
