Hi,

Can somebody tell me how I can burn whatever I want with my plextor 12x10x32 rewriter, because everything i want to burn at 12 speed doesn't work. Also when I put al the data on my harddisk. It won't work. So I can only burn at 4 speed this sucks.

Thanks

Hi there,

I see your problem and I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there isn't really a way to burn at 12X. Burning a CD is sensitive stuff and as you said: most CD's burnt at that speed just don't work. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

Soooooooooooo Sorry,
Firecracker

I see no difference when copying at 1x or 12x, if you cant copy a game you cant copy a game no matter what speed you write.

try using different blank cd-r's some are not rated to burn at 12x speeds, and others may be incompatible with your burner, for incompatibility you simply need to try some different brands out but most generics work fine as long as they are rated for highspeed recording 12x or higher. also ##### what software you are using, what is it's compatibility to your writer and does the software support 12x burn. Burning 12x IS POSSIBLE, I have an aopen 12x10x32 and burn 12x without flaw, I have several friends with the same plextor you have and do not have trouble burning 12x. good luck
