Can't make a copy of Mechwarrior 4 please help

I have been trying to make a backup of my mechwarrior 4 game and have been unable to. I keep getting "Unable to read the disk" errors.
Whats up with this???

What type of copy protection does this game have???

The German Version of this game is protected with the "Safedisk Nr.1" copy protection .
Simply make your copy with "NERO Burning Rom" (does it pretty good by me :-)) and take the Tool "unsafedisc V1.5.5" (a Link to it is above under the Mirrors of GCW , PSX World etc.) to make your own crack for this great game .
Or look at the GCW Page . There you find the crack , too .
Then , after a full installation and the changing of the Main *.exe File , you are ready to play the game :-))
