NEED HELP ON DVD'S

I wanted to know, step-by-step on how to copy just the movie part of the dvd's. I would like to transfer them onto a vcd format, or something that will play on my dvd player ( home stereo ). THNAKS

take smartripper to rip the vobs and use flaskmpeg (go.to/flaskmpeg) to de-/encode to your desired format (read dox!).

codecs needed: divx, angelpotion or panasonic mpeg1 (my favourite ones).
