Soldier Of Fortune(gold upgrade) No-CD patch

I have the original SOF game, I downloaded
the Gold upgrade patch and installed it fine. But now I can't get the NO-CD patch to work on the Gold upgrade version. Any suggestions?????
I did download the version also. 1.06.

here`s a tip 4 u.
do a fresh install of SoF, run the game, type in your serial number.
the moment the main menu comes up, quit out of the game.
install the gold patch.
take out your CD.
run the game.
gold patch also works like no-CD.

No it doesn't. SOF work without the cd, it starts without it, SOF only ask for a cd when you want to play the single player mission.
