Settler 4 after trying all cracks still not working.
What am I doing wrong?Can someone give me an instruction??

Hi,

I have the same problem. No version and crack works.
I never had such problems, all other SD2 Games work well with the right cracks. Settlers 4 is the first difficult one :-(
Do you have any news ?

Hi guys,

I try to give you an step by step instruction, to install the settler4 V795.

1. Install the game - Full Installation.
2.Apply the official Settlers 4 v1.04.795 Patch.
ftp://ftp.bluebyte.com/pub/SIV_Patches/SIV_756_795.exe
3.Apply the Crack V795
http://64.156.174.57/cracks/s4_795.ace
4.Replace the original S4_MAIN.EXE
If you want to play in German, save the miscdata.1.cfg file (before you update the game) and copy the file back,or get the language changer
http://gcw.thramlabs.com/games/files/s4_langchng.zip
5.Create the following directory: <GameDir>\S4
6.Copy the following directories from the <CD>\S4 directory to: <GameDir>\S4
-MAPS (+campaign dir)
-VIDEO
-SND
thats all

You must copy the patch to the game dir, otherwise, the patch does not work.

Hi,

now it works all fine, thnx.

i forgot to make this damn S4 directory in Gamedir, that was all. I just didnīt read the 'S4' in the readmes !

Hi,
Iīve tried the fixes and have some trouble:
under WIN2K: the game wants the CD when I want to play a game after the tutorial.
under WIN98SE: I canīt save a game.

Hi!
I only have version 756 of the game and it seems that the 791 patch desn't work. It says that the 24_main.exe is already a newer version though I just reinstalled it. Could anyone do me a favor? Please send the original s4_main.exe and the s4.exe to miyerb********com. Thanx in advance. BTW, there is already a new patch... v815.
