I've downloaded the No disc crack for Colin Mcrae 2. But now the game locks the PC when loading, has anyone had the same problem. Is there a fix or have I done something wrong?

Use a program call UNSECUROM to make your own no cd exe, you have to have the original cd or a perfect copy of the cd so the program can make the crack.Thats what i did this way the cracks always work.

thanks for your help just tried that on a pc without a writer, do you need to have a writer to create the new exe or does unsecorum auto correct the exe.

I'd be greatful for some help, I'm new to all this.

You don't need a cd-writer to use UNSECUROM just put the cd in your dvd or cd rom drive then use unsecurom which will make the no cd exe. But i suggest you use clonecd to make a image file then use Deamon Tools to mount it and play it, this way you don't have to mess around with progs like unsecurom and exe and all that stuff,but that just my opinion.
