Hey guys,
I just wanted to report that I finally made a successful backup of Red Alert 2 US edition that is installable and playable on any cd reader it seems!
Here is a list of my hardware and settings I used:

-Plextor CDRW 12/4/32 scsi: PX-W124TS (used for both reading and writing)
-700mb CD-R (80-min disc)
-CloneCD version 2.8.4.2
-Read Settings:
-Read Speed: 1x
-Read SubChannel Data from Data Tracks: (ON)
-Read SubChannel Data from Audio Tracks: (ON)
-Fast Error Skip: (ON)...Error Correction: (Software)
-Don't report read errors: (OFF)
-Intelligent Bad Sector Scanner: (ON)

-Write Settings:
-Write Speed: 1x
-Write Mode: RAW DAO
-Don't Repair SubChannel Data: (OFF)
-Perform Laser Power Calibration: (ON)
-Wait until Buffers are full: (ON)
-Always close last Session: (ON)

** It takes a little time to burn, but it works! I have tried it on several readers on different computers including:
-Plextor UltraPlex 40 wide (PX-40TW)
-Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1202 (5x DVD/32x CD)
-Toshiba 32x cd reader
-HP cd writer 7200 series
...and of course the PlexWriter itself.

**In all cases, the game initialization did not take any longer than the original cd itself. I had this problem when I did just fast error read and used the PlexWriter to play the game.

So I hope these settings help out any of you out there with a PlexWriter who thought you were out of luck in just using your copy in a the same drive that you burned it in!

Good Luck!
