the sims still won't work

here's what is going on.....I put in several patches( the no-cd,&.exe patch) several times and it said I had to put the disc in to play the game....I got some black check safedisc unwrapper but I don't think it's workin right either.....when I try clonecd, it wouldn't give me an ending time so I checked the log and it was failing to read the sectors....please tell me what I'm doing wrong

I make a copy with clone cd I put the orginal
in the cd-rom a blanco in the cd-rw
and use this settings
read:max
fast error skip:yes
write:max
close last session:yes
raw-dao
image file: c:\temp sims.ccd
succes
