Burning ps2 games using Cd-r/Cd-rw Burner. (MX RIDER) please help!

I have a Hewlett Packard Cd-r Cd-rw burner and i have burned Time splitters and Wave rally for playstation 2 succesfully. But when i go to Burn Mx rider it wont let me. On my burner a red light flashes. I cant even view the files of the game in My computer. I Would also like to know how to extract DVD files from the game and burn w/ out them. I am using Nero Burning Rom. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if the game is on DVD, your burner can't read it or burn it. you need a dvdrom to read them at all, and a dvd-r burner to make direct copies of them.
